1、1状 语 从 句 讲 解 和 练 习状 语 修 饰 动 词 、 形 容 词 、 副 词 或 整 个 句 子 。 通 常 由 副 词 、 介 词 短 语 、 动 词 不 定 式 、 分 词 和 从 句 等担 当 。 例 如 ： 1. Naturally , our grandparents were pleased to get our phone call . (副 词 ) 2. We worked hard , from sunrise to sunset . (介 词 状 短 语 ) 3. To help my disabled aunt , I spend an hour working

2、 in her house every day . (不 定 式 ) 4. Seen from a distance , the farmhouse looked deserted . (过 去 分 词 ) 5. I know how to light a camp fire because I had done it before .（ 原 因 状 语 从 句 ） 状 语 的 位 置 比 较 灵 活 ， 可 以 位 于 句 首 、 句 末 或 句 中 。 enough 用 作 状 语 修 饰 形 容 词 和 副 词 时 必 须 后 置 。状 语 从 句 主 要 用 来 修 饰 主 句 或 主

3、 句 的 谓 语 。 一 般 可 分 为 九 大 类 ， 分 别 表 示 时 间 、 地 点 、 原 因 、 目 的 、结 果 、 条 件 、 让 步 、 比 较 和 方 式 。 尽 管 种 类 较 多 ， 但 由 于 状 语 从 句 与 汉 语 结 构 和 用 法 相 似 ， 所 以 理 解 和 掌握 它 并 不 难 。 状 语 从 句 的 关 键 是 要 掌 握 引 导 不 同 状 语 从 句 的 常 用 连 接 词 和 特 殊 的 连 接 词 即 考 点 。 现 分 别 列 举 如 下 : 1 时 间 状 语 从 句常 用 引 导 词 ： when, as, while, as soon

4、 as, before, after, since , till, until 特 殊 引 导 词 ： the minute, the moment, the second, every time, the day， the instant, immediately , directly, no sooner than, hardly when, scarcely when I didnt realize how special my mother was until I became an adult. While John was watching TV, his wife was coo

5、king. The children ran away from the orchard(果 园 ), the moment they saw the guard. No sooner had I arrived home ,then it began to rain. Every time I listen to your advice, I get into trouble. 2 地 点 状 语 从 句常 用 引 导 词 ： where 特 殊 引 导 词 ： wherever, anywhere, everywhere Generally, air will be heavily pol

6、luted where there are factories. Wherever you go, you should work hard. 地 点 状 语 从 句 一 般 由 连 接 副 词 where, wherever 等 引 导 ， 已 经 形 成 了 固 定 的 句 型 ， 例 如 ： 句 型 1： Where 地 点 从 句 ， （ there） 主 句 。 【 注 意 】 此 句 型 通 常 译 成 “哪 里 哪 里 就 ”； 主 句 在 从 句 后 面 时 ， there 可 用 可 不 用 ； 如 果 主 句在 从 句 的 前 面 时 ， 一 般 都 不 用 there。

7、例 如 ： Where there is no rain, farming is difficult or impossible.在 没 有 雨 水 的 地 方 ， 耕 作 是 困 难 的 ， 或 根 本 不可 能 的 。 They were good persons. Where they went, there they were warmly welcomed. 他 们 都 是 好 人 。 因 此 他们 走 到 哪 里 都 受 到 热 烈 欢 迎 。 You should have put the book where you found it. 你 本 来 应 该 把 书 放 回 原

8、来 的 地 方 。 Where the Communist Party of China goes, there the people are liberated.哪 里 有 了 中 国 共 产 党 ， 哪 里 人2民 得 解 放 。 句 型 2： Anywhere/ wherever 地 点 从 句 ， 主 句 。 【 注 意 】 anywhere 本 身 是 个 副 词 ， 但 是 ， 常 可 以 引 导 从 句 ， 相 当 于 连 词 ， 意 思 相 似 于 wherever, anywhere 引 导 的 从 句 可 位 于 主 句 之 前 ， 也 可 以 位 于 主 句 之 后 。

9、而 wherever 本 身 就 是 个 连 词 ， 表 示 “在何 处 ， 无 论 何 处 ”。 例 如 ： Wherever the sea is , you will find seamen.有 海 就 有 海 员 。 3 原 因 状 语 从 句常 用 引 导 词 ： because, since, as, for 特 殊 引 导 词 ： seeing that, now that, in that, considering that, given that. My friends dislike me because Im handsome and successful. Now th

The higher income tax is harmful in that it may discourage people from trying to earn more. 4 目 的 状 语 从 句常 用 引 导 词 ： so that, in order that 特 殊 引 导 词 ： lest, in case, for fear that， in the hope that, for the purpose that, to the end that The boss ask

The teacher raised his voice on purpose that the students in the back could hear more clearly. 5 结 果 状 语 从 句常 用 引 导 词 ： so that, such that, 特 殊 引 导 词 ： such that, to the degree that, to the extent that, to such a degree that,

To such a degree was he excited that he couldnt sleep last night. 6 条 件 状 语 从 句常 用 引 导 词 ： if, unless, 特 殊 引 导 词 ： as/so long as, only if, providing/provided that, supposing that, in case that, on condi

13、tion that Well start our project if the president agrees. You will certainly succeed so long as you keep on trying. Provided that there is no opposition, we shall hold the meeting here. 7 让 步 状 语 从 句常 用 引 导 词 ： though, although, even if, even though 特 殊 引 导 词 ： as(用 在 让 步 状 语 从 句 中 必 须 要 倒 装 )， whil

14、e ( 一 般 用 在 句 首 )， no matter ， in spite of the fact that, while, whatever, whoever, wherever, whenever, however, whichever Much as I respect him, I cant agree to his proposal. 尽 管 我 很 尊 敬 他 ， 我 却 不 同 意 他 的 建 议 。 The old man always enjoys swimming even though the weather is rough. 3No matter how hard

He wont listen whatever you may say. 8 比 较 状 语 从 句常 用 引 导 词 ： as(同 级 比 较 ), than(不 同 程 度 的 比 较 ) 特 殊 引 导 词 ： the more the more ; just as ， so; A is to B what /as X is to Y; no more than; not A so much as B She is as bad-tempered as her mother. The house is t

16、hree times as big as ours. The more you exercise, the healthier you will be. Food is to men what oil is to machine. 食 物 之 于 人 ， 犹 如 油 之 于 机 器 。 9 方 式 状 语 从 句常 用 引 导 词 ： as, as if, how 特 殊 引 导 词 ： the way When in Rome, do as the Roman do. She behaved as if she were the boss. Sometimes we teach our children the way our parents have taught us. 10. 状 语 从 句 的 简 化状 语 从 句 的 省 略 状 语 从 句 同 时 具 备 下 列 两 个 条 件 : 主 句 和 从
