4、nt: Step 2 Danger Zone is mainly a passage about temperature range in which we can keep food safety. In last lesson, we have learned the new words in Step 2, most of the students have already grasped the words. In this lesson students grasp the main idea of the passage and raise their reading skills

5、 primarily as well as listening and speaking skills.3) Analysis of the students: The students are studying Business English in Grade Two in Longjiang Vocational and Technical School. All of them are interested in English and most of them can study hard in class. They have learned the words in Step 2

6、 in last lesson and is going to learn the passage in Step 2. I have divided all the 45 students into nine groups at the beginning of the new term, and each of them has an English name. These nine groups often do class activities in classes.4)Teaching Aims: (1) Knowledge and abilities: Students learn

7、 that we can keep food safety in certain temperature range and know what the danger zone means. Students can generalize the main idea of the passage and can make conversations. Students raise their reading skills primarily as well as listening and speaking skills.(2) procedures and methods:Procedure

8、s: Step 1 Warming-up & lead-in; Step 2 Presentation; Step 3 Practice; Step 4 Summary; Step 5 Homework.Methods:I use the following concrete methods so that students can grasp the content of the passage and raise their abilities of reading: to search on internet and connect website; to use pictures; t

9、o make questions; to make discussions in groups; to listen and read; to do a task; to do individual work. Furthermore, in order to enlarge students knowledge and strengthen their abilities of listening and speaking, I use the following concrete methods: to search on internet; to watch a video; to ma

10、ke questions; to make discussions in groups; to make conversations; to do pair or group work.(3) Attitude and Outlook: Students learn that we should keep our food out of danger zone and we should keep our diet healthy and keep away from harmful food.5)Teaching Important Points: the main idea of the
