In this novel she mainly describes the complicated relationship between four Chinese immigrant mothers and their American-born daughters. The thesis tries to analyze the m
6、other-daughter relationship in detail by presenting the cultural conflicts and blending. 12、ted from high school in Switzerland, and received her masters degree in Linguistics from San Jose State University.
