5、ANCE TOWER陆家嘴地块公共绿地综合改造工程LUJIAZUI Z4-2 PUBLIC GREEN SPACE LANDSCAPE DESIGNZ4-2ARK HillsWhere It All BeganARK Hills, which celebrated its twentieth birthday in 2006, was Japans first large-scale private redevelopment project incorporating office spaces, residences, a hotel, concert hall,and other fac
6、ilities. Demand for office space had risen with rapid economic growth in the1960s. While responding by developing office buildings in the Shimbashi and Toranomon areas, we at Mori Building began searching for a better model for the human-urban nexus. The result was our shift from spot development of
7、 single buildings to area development spanning neighborhoods or districts and our evolution of the mixed-use, compact city. Those ideas came to fruition in 1986, after seventeen years of labor, in ARK Hills, the starting point for all our Hills projects: placing work in proximity to residences, prom
8、oting the arts, and fostering urban living in coexistence with nature.ARK Hills愈显成熟森大厦城区改建事业的原点ARK Hills建于 1986年，是日本第一个由民间开发的大规模旧城改建项目，集办公、住宅、酒店、音乐厅等设施于一体。 20世纪 60年代，随着日本经济的高速发展，办公楼市场需求日趋增长。为了适应市场需要，森大厦开始在新桥和虎之门地区开发办公楼。在开发中，森大厦不断摸索人与城市和谐发展的模式，由单栋办公楼的“点式开发”逐步转型到包括街区道路在内的“面式开发”，并进一步发展到多功能的“集约型城区”。1986

11、o. The largest private redevelopment project thus far in Japan, it is one outcome of the arc of urban development work that Mori Building began with ARK Hills. With a concentration of the most innovative financial, IT, and software industry firms in its office spaces, rental residences offering unsu
12、rpassed hospitality andsecurity, some 230 retail entities, a cinema complex (TOHO CINEMAS Roppongi Hills), and a hotel (Grand Hyatt Tokyo), Roppongi Hills brings together all the multifaceted elements of urban living.Knowing that a city needs to be nurtured, Mori Building carries out participatory e
13、vents, from rice planting to morning Tai Chi to dazzling Christmas illuminations at Roppongi Hills, fostering the birth of new community life there. Symbolizing all that Roppongi Hills seeks to be is the Mori Arts Center, which crowns Mori Tower, the main tower in Roppongi Hills. The center combines
