1、1一教学课题 Unit 4 It was there!(第四课时)二教学目标:1知识目标:进一步熟悉课文, 了解课文内容, 让学生深刻地体会 be动词的一般过去式在短文中根据上下文的正确使用;能跟唱 Part G 的歌曲。2 能力目标:培养学生的听、说、读、写能力。3 情感能力:培养学生良好的合作与竞争意识,激发学生的英语学习兴趣。 三教学重点和难点:1进一步了解熟悉课文, 能让学生正确的朗读课文, 并有正确的语音语调;理解课文内容, 能根据相关的提示, 复述课文的主要内容;2正确使用一些词的用法:“was” 和“were” , “excited” 和“exciting”等四主要教学方法:1任

2、务型教学2情景教学五课时安排:第四课时六教具:录音机、多媒体课件, 实物七教学过程:Step 1. Warming up and revision1) Listen to a song together. If they have previewed the song and can sing, the students may with the tape. Song: Wheres my diary? 2) Greetings first. How are you these days? Are you happy or not? Why?3) Game: Good memory. The

3、teacher may hide sth, then ask some questions like these: Where was the pencil? Where were the pencils? The things can be books, balls, dolls questions by teachers first, then encourage students to ask the questions: make sure that the students can use was / were correctly. Step 2. Presentation1. Li

4、sten to the tape, then answer the questions: 1) What are the students doing? How are the they? How is the running race? 2)Whose is the camera? Where was the camera? Where were the films?2. :Listen to the tape and read after the tape together.3. Read the text in chorus, groups and individually.4. Fil

Happy? Yes, you are so happy. And you are very excited because the exercise is very exciting. Let stud

Underline the useful word phrases and some sentences: Sports Day, watch the running race, (sb) be excited, (sth) be exciting, a moment ago, just now, Can you pick them up for me, please? Sure. Step 4 Listen to the song again, try to follow it. Ask some volunteers to sing the song.Step 5 Practice. Group work: Make the sentences as the pictures, and write them down. Step 6 Homework1.
