Section A 教案【教学目标】1.知识目标:(1)掌握好部分重点词汇与词组:admire, means, director, skating, novel, be born, start doing something, get in trouble, drop out of school等。(2)学会运用when , how long引导的特殊疑问句。(3)掌握一般过去时态的特殊疑问句和被动语态。2.技能目标:(1)能听懂谈论杰出人物的对话材料,能够谈论自己的生活经历。(2)能读懂描述杰出文物的对话,能够写介绍自己和周围同学的生活经历的

2、小短文。3.德育目标:(1)通过了解名人的个人经历,学习他们积极上进努力奋斗的精神。(2)多运动、多锻炼的好处。【教学重点】1.词汇:admire, means, start doing something, get in trouble, drop out of school.2.句型:when/how long引导的特殊疑问句。When was he born? How long did he.?When did he start/stop.?【教学难点】1. 正确运用词汇与短语start, stop, be born。2. 掌握when, how long引导的特殊疑问句句型。【教学过程

3、】Step 1:Warm-up1.展示一些学生熟知的名人照,谈论他们的出生年份以巩固年份的阅读,采用抢答形式以调动学生积极性。再自然地操练When were you born?和When was she/he born?通过这种操练引出其他人称的运用。2.老师呈现姚明图片提问: Do you know who that is? Whats he? /What does he do? Where is he from? 学生对这些明星的很多情况都很熟悉,可是不太熟悉他们的出生时间。提出以上一系列问题后,就可引起学生的好奇心,这时,呈现姚明的出生年份让学生用He was born in句型回答,并

4、加以补充He is an international sports star. 由此带着学生对他们感兴趣的国际明星作简单的归纳和更深入的了解,这部分用对话的形式来完成,这样既满足了学生的好奇心又为后面的听力部分作了铺垫和降低了难度,并不忘对学生进行德育教育,以两个小问题Are you as famous as them? Do you want to be famous in the future? 以鼓励学生们要好好学习为将来的famous 打下坚实的基础。Step 2: Presentation(1) 分男、女生两大组,对莫言的相关生平开展知识竞赛,教师在黑板上进行计分,如提问Do you

5、 know of any famous writer? Who is the first Chinese writer winning the 2012 Nobel Prize? 自然而然的引入莫言。然后可以就莫言的写作背景,作品,成就,影响等对同学进行提问,如When was he born?或When was he dropped out of school?以及What did little Mo ye read when he couldnt find any more books?(2) 结束后,教师让同学们自主阅读课本上的有关莫言的文章,并用英语作出总结。Mo Yan was bo

6、rn in 1955. When he was 12, he dropped out of school. And besides the Nobel Prize, Mo Yan also won the 18th Mao Dun Literature Prize. (设计意图:以竞赛的形式学习关于莫言的这篇文章,提高同学们的课堂参与度,为其后的阅读做铺垫,降低难度。)Step 3: Grammar1. 讲解语言点和学习grammar focus,重点讲解句型如Whos that? 和When was he/she born? 并熟练掌握回答的方式如He/she was born in.。2.

7、 此外对于how old句型的讲解,可以提问同学:How old were you when you learned English? How old were you when you learned to ride a bike?How old were you when you first wrote music?How old was he when he first went to a movie?Step 4: Practice通过完成self check,使课文的重点短语和语法知识融会在一定的语境中,启发引导他们归纳when, how long, how old在一般过去时态的用

8、法,这样本课的难点就迎刃而解了。(设计意图:先对本课重难语法点进行讲解,再让同学们对学习到的知识通过习题进行检验,既巩固了该知识点,又对所学进行了实践。)Step 5: SummaryT: What did you learn this class?教师和学生一起总结本课时的教学重点,一起回顾学过的知识内容,尤其是对重点词汇和短语,句型的回顾。1. 词汇和短语:admire, means, director, literature, novel, publishstart doing, at hand, something, get in trouble, drop out of school2. 句型:When were you born?When was he/she born?How old were you when you learned English?(设计意图:引导学生总结本课时的教学重点,自主总结更能加深学生对所学知识的印象。)Step 6: Homework要求学生写一篇个人小传记,包括姓名,出生年月,小时侯学过什么,得过什么奖,什么时候进入小学,初中,参加过什么兴趣小组。
