13、process) was developed especially for the manufacture of spiral pipes, has been improved constantly over the years and allows spiral pipes to be used as quality pipes.In the case of the so-called two-step production process, the pipes are formed and provisionally welded (by means of shielded- arc ta
14、ck welding) at speeds up to 10.0 m/min in the first process stage. This tack welding merely serves as a technological seam and is melted completely during the final welding.In the second process step, these pipes are final-welded on as many as five separate stands. In this respect, multiple-wire sub

In addition to economic aspects, this process also has technical advantages due to the separation of the pipe forming and the final welding.
