1、初中英语语法归纳：定语从句 定语从句是一种形容词的关系从句，由关系代词或关系副词引导。 初中英语中的定语从句仅限于限制性定语从句，如果你对这一部分 的内容不太熟悉的话，一定要好好看看这篇文章！ 一、 英语 中的 定 语从 句 与 汉语 中 的 定 语 位 置 不同 。 在复 合 句 中 ，修 饰某 一名 词或 代 词 的 从 句 叫做定 语从 句。 英 语 中 的 定语 从句 始 终 要 放在 被修 饰的 词之 后 ， 而 汉语 中的 定语 则 放 在 被 修 饰 词之 前 。 如： The man （ 先行 词）who / that I saw at the school gate yest
2、erday （定 语 从 句 ）is my English teacher. 昨天 我 在 校 门口 看见 的那 个人 是 我 的 英 语老 师。 二、英 语从 句中 的句 型结 构 比 较 复 杂 ，有 先行 词、关 系代 词或 关系 副 词。 被定 语 从 句 修饰 的词 叫先 行词 ， 引 导 定 语 从句的 关联 词有 关 系 代 词 或关 系副 词 。 关系 代 词 或 关系 副词 放在 先行 词 和 定 语 从 句之间 起纽 带作 用 ， 关 系 代词 或关 系 副 词 在定 语从 句中 要充 当 一 个 成 分 。关系 代词 在句 中 可 作 主 语、 宾语 或 定 语 ，关 系
3、副 词在 句中 作 状 语 。 如： I am waiting for the boy （ 先 行 词） who /that （ 关 系 代词 ） is wearing a red coat. （ 主语 ） 我正 在 等 穿 着红 色外 套的 那个 男 孩 。 The dictionary （ 先 行词 ） that / which（ 关系 代 词 ） my sister gave me last Sunday is very expensive.（ 宾语 ） 我姐 姐 上 周 星期 天给 我的 那本 字 典 很 贵 。 The woman is his mother （先 行 词） whos
4、e （ 关系 代 词 ） name is Linda Brown. (定 语 ) 那个 是 他 的 母亲 ，名 叫琳 达 布 朗。 That is the house （ 先行 词 ） where （ 关 系 副词）my father used to live.( 状语 ) 那是 我 父 亲 曾经 居住 过的 房子 。 三、 初中 英语 中 定语 从 句 关系 代 词 的 具 体 用 法。 1. who指 人 （ 也 可 用 that ） ， 在 定语 从 句 中 作 主 语， 也可 作宾 语 。 如： Yesterday I helped an old man who / that lost
5、 his way. （主 语） 昨天 我 帮 助 了一 位迷 路的 老人 。 Mr Wang is the man (who / that / whom) you met in the zoo this morning.（ 宾 语 ） 王先 生 就 是 今天 早上 你在 动物 里 遇 到 的 那个 人。 注意 ： 关 系 代词 who 指 人,作宾 语 时， 可 用 whom代 替； 作宾 语 时， 关 系代 词 可 省 略。 作其 它成 分， 关 系 代 词 则不 能省 略 。 2. whose指 人 ， 也 可 指物 。在 定语 从 句 中 作 定 语。 The boy whose mot
6、her is ill is staying at home to look after her today. 他母 亲 生 病 的那 个男 孩今 天呆 在 家 里 照 顾她 。 I have a story book whose cover is red. 我 有一 本封 面 是 红 色 的 故 事书 。 3. which指物 （ 也可 用 that ）， 在定 语从 句 中 作 主 语， 也 可 作 宾 语 。 如： Football is a game which / that is liked by most boys. （ 主语） 足球 是 被 大 多数 男孩 喜欢 的运 动 。 I
7、don t believe the news which / that Tom won the game. （宾 语 ） 我不 相 信 汤 姆赢 得这 场比 赛的 消 息 。 四、 关系 代词 whom, which在 定语 从 句中 作介 词宾 语 时， 可以 和介 词 一起 放在 先行 词 与定 语 从 句之 间 。 That is the place in which I lived for five years. =That is the place which / that I lived in for five years. 那 就 是我 住过 五年 的 地 方 。 Mr Zhan
8、g is the man for whom I am looking. =Mr Zhang is the man who / whom / that I am looking for. 张 先 生就 是我 正在 找 的 那 个人 。 五 、 具 体 使 用 关 系代 词或 关 系 副 词需 要注 意的 问题 。 1.只 用 that ， 不 用 which的情况 。 （ 1） 前有 序 数词 修饰 时。 如： This is the tenth gift that I received for my birthday. 这 是 我收 到的 第十 个 生 日 礼物 。 （ 2） 前有 形 容词
9、最高 级修 饰时 。 如 ： That is the most exciting game that I have ever watched. 那 是 我曾 经看 过最 令 人 兴 奋的 比赛 。 （ 3） 先行 词 是 all, little, few, something, anything, everything等不 定 代 词 时。 如： All that he told me is true. 他 告 诉 我 的一 切是 真实 的。 （ 4） 先行 词 被 the only修 饰 时。 如： The only thing that I can get is a pen. 我 唯 一
10、能 得到 的东 西就 是一 支 钢 笔 。 （ 5） 先行 词 既指 人， 又指 物时 。 如 ： We talked about the people and the things that we were interested in. 我 们 谈论 了我 们感 兴 趣 的 人和 事。 2. 只 用 which ，不 用 that 的 情况 。 （ 1） 定语 从 句是 物时 ，定 语从 句 由 “ 介词 +关 系代 词 which”引 导。 如： The thing about which the teacher is talking is very important. 老 师 正在 谈
