5、ith controlled molecular weight were synthesized in miniemulsion system by using reversibleadditionnullfragmentationchain transfer polymerization. Thestructureand thecomposition of thesecopolymers werecharacterized by means ofFTIR, 1HnullNMR and GPC. Their selfnullassembly in mixed solvent tetrahydr
6、ofuran/ cyclohexane ( THF/ CYH) wasstudied. The effects of different weight ratios of PMMA homopolymer to block copolymer and different THFcontents in mixed solvent on the micellar morphology were both discussed. Detailed micelle structural informationwas extracted from transmission electron microsc
7、opy ( TEM) . The morphologices changed from wellnullproportionedand dispersed spherical micelles to largenullsized and irregular micelles when changing the weight ratio of PMMAhomopolymer. The effect of different THF contents in the mixed solvent on the micellar morphology is thatincreasing the THF
8、content lead to the formation of largenullsized micelles and the aggregation of the neighboringmicelles. When the THF content is 60 %, the size of the micelles is about 400 nm, which is the largest of thespherical micelles observed in the research.Key words: reversible additionnullfragmentation chai
