2、PracticeExercises on page 41 in the English book.Step 3.Exercises on page 120 :C1,C2Homework :Finish off the exercises on page 43-44 in the Exercise book(20 )Period 2联系动词1. 联系动词或称不完全不及物动词 , 虽有意义 , 但不完全 , 需要加名词、形容词、代名词等作主词补语以补足其意义。I am a student.我是学生。I am 不能完整表达句子的意义, 要加主词补语a student,句意才完整 ,am 是联系动词。

3、2. 联系动词按其含义可以分为二类。类型 1: 表示状态和状态的持续, 如 :be( 是 ), seem(似乎 ), look( 看起来 ), appear( 似乎 ), feel( 觉得 ), sound( 听起来 ), smell( 闻起来 ), taste( 尝起来 ), keep( 保持 ), remain( 保持 ), stand( 站立 ), lie( 躺 ), stay( 停留 ) 等。类型 2: 表示从一种状态转变为另一种状态, 如:become(变成 ), go( 变得 ), get( 变得 ), turn( 变成 ), grow( 变成 ), fall( 变成某种状态 ),

4、 come(成为 ), run( 变成 ) 等。3. 联系动词没有被动式。中文 : 他保持沈默。第1页共 7页( 误 )He is remained silent.( 正 )He remains silent.4. 除表示从一种状态转变为另一种状态的联系动词和在个别情况下的联系动词BE外, 其他联系动词没有进行式。The days are getting longer and longer.白天越来越长。He was only being kind for the moment.他只是一时的仁慈。中文 : 他保持沈默。( 误 )He is remaining silent.( 正 )He re

5、mains silent.除最常见的 be 动词之外, 有四类行为动词可起类似 系动词 的作用,其后跟一形容词或形容词化的分词。1表示人体感官功能的动词 appear ,feel ,look ,seem,smell ,sound , taste 。这类动词后跟一形容词,表达人体感官受外界因素的刺激而对主语所表示的人或事物的特征、性质或状态作出的反应、判断或产生的结果。 例如:Why does she appear so unhappy today?她为何今天显得如此郁郁不乐?When springcomes the grass in my lawn smells fresh andsweet

6、春天一到,我的草坪青草气味清新芬香。I am afraid your sentence doesntsound correct恐怕你的句子不大对。The chicken soup served in this restaurant tasted delicious这家饭馆卖的鸡汤味道真不错。2表示变化过程的动词become, go, grow, run , turn , wear。这类动词后跟一个表示特征的形容词或形容词化分词,表示事物从一种状态向另一种状态的变化或发展。例如:第2页共 7页You will grow wiser and wiser by practice实践使你变得越来越聪明

7、。The supply of fresh water in this area is running short这个地区淡水供应越来越短缺。The stone steps have worn smooth这些石阶已磨光滑。It is becoming much more expensive to travel abroad现在出国旅行费用贵多了。这类动词中,go 之后通常跟贬义形容词,表示向不好的方面发展。例如:The poor man went blind at the age of thirty这个可怜人30 岁时就失明了。Fruit goes rotten quickly in hot

8、weather水果在热天烂得快。3表示“延续”意义的动词 continue , keep, lie , remain , rest , sit , stand , stay 。这类动词后跟一个状态形容词,表示这一状态的延续或保持。例:We are glad the weather will continue fine for some days天气将连续几天晴朗,我们真高兴。He is a hard-working man and never rests idle他是个勤快人,从不闲懒。The plot now stood revealed这个阴谋现已曝光。She sat rooted in
