So the extramarital affair in The English Patien
2、t is exciting, complex and dangerous feelings. This kind of feelings make them unable to control themselves. So The English Patient is a prime example of passionate love.,3,Synopsis,near the end of World War in a deserted Italian monastery (修道院) Canadian nurse Hana cares for the mysterious “English
3、Patient”, who is badly burned and slowly dying. They are disturbed in the monastery by the arrival of Kip (基普) and Caravaggio（卡拉瓦焦）. Kip is an Indian sapper (挖地道的兵，工兵) who enjoys a brief affair with Hana.,4,Caravaggio is a thief and former Allied (盟军的) spy who lost his thumbs under torture（n.拷问，折磨）
