As the famous Russian litterateur Lev Tolstoy (列夫、托尔斯泰)said, “Ideal is the beacon(烟火、灯塔). Without ideal, there is no secure
2、 (无虑的, 安全的, 安心的., 可靠的, 保险的)direction; without a direction, there is no life.” So theres no doubt that everyone needs his or her own ideal. Have you ever thought that what is practical and sensible(.明智的, 有感觉的, 明理的) will connect with our most treasured dreams? Maybe, to somebody, reality has little re
3、lation to ideal. To others nothing can be done without the sense of reality. So make our dreams a part of our reality. And make our reality a part of our dreams. There is no reason why our dreams must oppose our reality. Improve our dreams and our reality by bringing them together. As a university s
4、tudent, establishing a dream is one of the most important things we have to do .But everyone must see the reality clearly at first. Your family condition, your personal ability, your social intercourse (交往、交流), your subject and the job you want to do, these things show you the reality and lead you t
5、o establish a dream. Further more, difficult or otherwise, we should put the power of reality into our dreams. Last but not least remember to work hard at the task of chasing 追逐our dreams. Do believe that we can achieve our ideal step by step by the passage of time! In the end, I want to share with

10、vior, we need to do one for the people and human progremake a difference. To our actions to prove that we have! In my 18 years of life， there have been many things. University days are the best part of them. I can never forget the days when I stepped into my university. I was impressed by its garden
11、-like campus， its enthusiastic students and especially its learning atmosphere. I at once fell in love with it. After the arduous military training， I get absolutely absorbed in my studies. The classes given by the teachers are excellent. They provide us with information not only from our textbooks
12、but from many other sources as well. They easily arouse my insatiable desire to take in as much as I can. Frankly speaking， at first I had some difficulty following the teachers. However， through my own efforts and thanks to my teachers guidance， I made remarkable progress. Now Ive benefited a lot f
13、rom lectures and many other academic reports. Learning is a long process; Ill keep exploring in the treasure house of knowledge to enrich myself. I also realize that only those who bring happiness for others can be truly happy. So I often take part in activities concerning public welfare. Besides st
14、udy and social practice， there are entertainments as well. I do body building every day， hoping to keep healthy and energetic. Campus life is the most splendid time. But different people have different choices. The majority of students cherish their beautiful season and cherish the hope that one day
15、 theyll bee outstanding. But there are indeed some students still under ignorance. They gather together for eating， drinking or playing cards. Theyre busy in searching for a girlfriend or a boyfriend. They forget pletely about their mission as college students and the hope of their motherland. Finally， I do hope everybody can try their best to bee a worthy citizen of the country.
