1、1询问“情况”的常用句型崔长平 河南遂平一高（463100）在日常交流中，经常会遇到询问情况的场合，现将几种常见说法归类如下：What about? 与 How about?用来询问别人的情况，打探消息或者提出建议征求对方的意见等。介词 about 后面可以接用名词、代词或动名词（包括动名词复合结构） 。How about a cup of tea?What about you?What about watching a basketball match together?What be like? 与 What look like?一般用于询问天气情况或者人的内在或外在特征（外貌特征、品质特
2、征等等） 。What look like?一般只用来询问外在特征。- What is the weather like today? - It is cloudy.- What is she like? / What does she look like?- She is like her mother, beautiful and tall.- What is the girl like?- She is kind and honest.- What is the young man like? / What does the young man look like?- He is tall
3、 and thin, with blonde hair and blue eyes.如果句子的主语是事物时，则是询问事物的外在特征、基本特点或者详细情况。对下列句子的划线部分进行提问时，皆可使用 what is / are like?The trees are very tall.The yard is square with many flowers in it.The tea is very sweet.注意：在有些情况下，用 how be?与 what be like? 差别并不大，二者可以换用。在这种情况下，句子的主语往往是一些这样的词，它们本身具有经常变化的含义。The climat
