2、得吗?试着回忆总结一下吧。_状语从句主要有:时间状语从句,地点状语从句,让步状语从句,原因状语从句,结果状语从句,目的状语从句,伴随状语从句,方式状语从句和条件状语从句9种。今天我们将学习原因、结果、目的状语从句。观察并翻译下列句子:1 1) I do it because I like it._2) Since no one is against it, lets start._3) As he wasnt ready in time , we went without him._总结:从以上句子可以看出它们都是_状语从句,由_(因为 ),_( 由于 ),_( 既然 )引导。其中语气最强的是

3、_,通常回答why引导的问句,该从句一般位于主句后。since 表示稍加分析后推断出的原因,比as正式;as表示对方已知道的原因。【注意】because 是连词,引导原因状语从句,不能与so连用;because of 是介词短语,只能引导表示原因的短语。(做课本27页第9部分)2. 1) He spoke so fast that I couldnt follow him._ 2) It was such a good day (=so good a day) that we all went swimming._总结:从以上句子可以得知,so that和such that引导_状语从句。Th

4、e weather was_ cold that I didnt like to leave my room.A. really B. such C. too D. so 【读一读】so.that和such.that的意思均为“如此以致”,都用来引导结果状语从句。但二者用法不尽相同,现归纳如下: 1)so.that结构中的so为副词,后面跟形容词或副词;such.that中的such为形容词,后面接名词(名词前可以有形容词或副词修饰)。例如:He became so angry that he couldnt speak. It was such a fine day that we went

5、 out for a walk. 2) 当that前的名词有表示数量多少的many, much, few, little等修饰时,只能用so,不能用such. 例如:There was so much noise outside that we couldnt hear the teacher. He had so many falls that he was black and blue all over.注意:若名词前的little解释为“小(的)”意思时,则仍用such, 而不能用so. 例如:It is such a little sheep that it cant run fast

6、. 3) 当that前是单数可数名词且该名词前面有形容词修饰时,so与such可以互换, 即:soadj.a/ann.sucha/anadj.n.。例如:She is so good a teacher that we all love her.She is such a good teacher that we all love her. 4) 当that前是不可数名词或复数可数名词时,则必须用such,不能用so来代替。例如:It was such fine weather that they all went swimming. They are such nice apples tha
