7、k out problems during the difficult course of the thesis.AbstractThere are abundant of color words in the Chinese language and the English language, as the color is a true reflection of the objective things, its semantic meaning surface in the English language and the Chinese language is consistent.
8、 Nevertheless, due to differences in history and culture, ethnic customs, religious beliefs, regional environment and so on, English and Chinese have different meanings in the same color. Sapir has said that language is a view of world, it reflects the influence different peoples values. The color o
9、f yellow is frequently used in both the English language and the Chinese language. This thesis aims at collecting words from the authoritative dictionary of Chinese and English and Oxford English Dictionary, finding the differences and reasons, and making comparative analysis of different thinking c
10、haracteristics of the English and Chinese people. It can help students understand the conceptual meaning of words, especially cultural connotation meaning, eliminating the interference of mother tongue and culture in the teaching of words or teaching Chinese as a foreign language. Its good for stude
11、nts to comprehend the meaning of words, enhancing the awareness and ability of intercultural communication, which has certain practical significance. In theory, its beneficial to know the deep differences between Chinese and English culture, making progress in teaching and scientific research level.
12、Key words: color word; culture; language; differences摘 要英语和汉语中都有许多表示颜色的词语，由于颜色词是对客观事物的真实反映，其语义表层意义在英汉两种语言中具有一致性。由于英汉民族在历史文化、民族习惯、宗教信仰、地域环境等诸多方面存在差异，因此，在英汉两种文化中同一颜色所包含的意义有所不同。萨丕尔曾说：“语言是一种世界观，它反映、影响着不同民族的价值观念”。颜色词“黄”在英汉两种语言中是使用频率较高，本文分别通过汉语和英语的权威词典汉语大词典和牛津英语词典( Oxford English Dictionary ) 的词条收集，从颜色词所蕴
13、含的文化内涵意义入手，通过归纳、分析、比较的方法，研究黄色在英汉语言在文化语义上的褒贬差异和联想意义，发现不同及原因，进一步对比分析英汉民族不同的思维特征。在词语教学或对外汉语教学中有助于学生了解词语的概念意义，尤其是文化内涵意义，使学生在外语学习过程中排除学生母语语言和文化的干扰；在翻译中更好地理解和掌握词的意义；增强跨文化交际的意识和能力，这具有一定的实践意义。在理论上，通过对比,认识中英文化深层次的差异,提高外语教学与科研水平。关键词：颜色词;文化;语言;异同Contents云南民族大学毕业论文(设计)原创性声明iAcknowledgmentsiiAbstractiii摘 要iv1.
