2、s.,The gap remains wide for many reasons. Children want to be free to choose their own friends, select their own classes in school, plan their own future, earn and spend their own money, and generally run their own life in a more way than many parents allow. Also, young children wish to be understoo
3、d by their parents, but most parents dont quite understand their children. They regard it as their responsibility to teach their offspring traditional beliefs. They want them to be and do well in school. Therefore, often arise from parents tendency to interfere in childrens daily activities.,Why wou
4、ld the generation gap produce?,independent,obedient,misunderstanding,The technological advances play a great rule in enlarging the gap as the younger generations are quicker to accept and adopt these technologies so that they consider the conservative and technologically suspicious elders of their f
5、amilies very old fashioned in their, tastes, opinions and out looks toward life.,On the other hand, the older people despise the modern values which they call the internet and globalization values. They consider the young generation shallow, lacking knowledge and moral depth. This difference can bes

Taste of art , music, dressing sense, food habit and living style.,Fashion,You like to dress more fashion,but your parents like your dress simple.,Music,You like listen to pop music . But your parents like old music,Youth want to take risk in lif
7、e and thus dont try to get into traditional way to live. They like excitement and life time enjoyment. They just think about their present not future. When a parent says no for dating and live-in relationships, youngster finds them silly, start ignoring them and behave rudely.,LIFESTYLE,Language,打酱油

However, the elder cant make it clear what they talk about.,affect the healthy growth of the young,First of all, generation gap puts the healthy growth of children, physically and psychologically, in high r

Parents often blame the childrens behaviour or style of clothes instead of caring about their thoughts.,3.In many cases, parents dont ask for childrens opinion, not to listen to

The young must learn that many things the old believe in are for a good reason.The old must unders
14、tand that what the young do is how things should be done in a new situation .The young need to respect the oldsexperience,while the old need to learn more fresh things and become more open-minded.They have to find some common ground to share with each other.,Respect,The parents should try to give up
