But I dont know how to use it yet . 但是我不知道怎样使用它。 how to use it 是带有疑问词的不定式在句子中作 know 的宾语，特殊疑问代词 Who，What，Which 和特殊疑问副词 When，Where，how 等后加动词不定式构成动词不定 式短语，可在句中作主语、宾语、表语等成份。例如： （1）When to s
2、tart is still a question . 何时动身尚未决定。 （2）I dont know where to go . 我不知道去哪儿。 （3）I cant decide which one to buy . 我不能决定买哪一个。 疑问词和不定式连用作宾语时，可把这种结构改为一个宾语从句，从而把简单句改为 复合句，其意义不变。如： （4）He didnt know how to do it . 他不知道怎样做。= He didnt know how he would do it . （5）Youd better ask when to have the party . = Youd
3、 better ask when we will have the party . 你最好问问我们什么时候举办晚会。 2. I have to learn to use it all by myself . 我不得不独自学习使用它。 learn by oneself 意为“自学”by oneself 在句中作状语，前面可加 all 来加强语气。 同义词组为 teach oneself 例如： （1）I learn English all by myself . = I teach myself English . 我自学英语。 （2）Did you learn to swim by yours
4、elf = Did you teach yourself to swim ? 你自学的游泳 吗？ 一般情况，当句子的主语和宾语是同一人时，我们常用反身代词，作宾语，例如： （3）Help yourselves to some bananas . 请随便吃些香蕉吧。 （4）He cant look after himself now . 他现在不能自己照顾自己。 3. It makes me very sad when I think of my little dogs death . 当我想起我的小狗的死，我就非常伤心。 （1）make + 宾语+宾补表示“可以使宾语怎么样”其中宾语补足语可以
5、是名词、副 词、形容词、动词原形等。例如： His gift made me very happy . 他的礼物令我非常高兴。 We made him Chairman . 我们选他当主席。 The teacher made the boy copy the new words twice . 老师让那个男孩抄两遍生词。 （2）sad 在句中用作形容词，意为“悲伤的、悲哀的”如： sad people 悲伤的人们；a sad film 令人伤心的电影。 sad 的副词为 sadly，名词为 sadness。 4. My friends all went to the Summer Palace
6、 , but I didnt join them . 我的朋友都去了颐和园， 但我没有和他们一起去。 join 用作及物动词时： （1）表示加入、参加（某团体、组织或人群）例如： He joined the army last year . 他去年参军了。 用心 爱心 专心 Will you join us in a walk ? 你跟我们一起散步吗？ （2）表示“连接、结合” Join the two ends of the tape . 把胶带两端连接起来。 They joined two islands with a bridge . 他们用一座桥把两个岛连起来。 join 用作不及物动
7、词时表示“加入”，如： May I join in the game ? 我可以参加这个游戏吗？ Why doesnt Tom join in the football match ? 汤姆为什么不参加足球赛呢？ 5. Write them down in your exercise book . 把它们写在你的练习本上。 write down 意为“记下、写下”，如果 write down 后面跟的宾语是名词短语，可以放 down 之后，但如果宾语是代词则放 write 和 down 之间，例如： （1）Please write down your name here . 请把你的名字写在这
8、儿。 （2）Please write it down in your exercise book . 请把它写在你的作业本上。 类似的动词常用的还有：put on，turn on，try on，prick up，look up，put up，hand in，turn in，work out，take out 等。 （3）Let me pick it up for you . 让我帮你把它捡起来。 （4）Put them on , please . 请把它们穿上。 6. With these words , the tiger jumped into the river and didnt co
