Backward students are not born in poor English. There are several causes that contribut

5、e to their lagging behind. Then this thesis discusses these causes: society factor, family factor, school factor and self-reason. Finally, it suggests some effective approaches to how teachers lead backward students in English learning, such as the cultivation of good habits, the necessitation of pe

In the practice, educators neglect the work on backward students. But education should open to all students, not only excellent students but also backward students

12、. Caring for backward students is a vital part in English education as well as creating a more harmonious class. It is beneficial to cultivate more outstanding constructors for the society. The celebrated educator Bloom suggests that there is no distinction between students learning capacities (王会娟1

13、32). This is based on a wide investigation and long-term experiment. A backward student can transform into a high achievement student only if given proper teaching means. Vasily Sukhomlinsky has a bright view that there are no poor students and teachers care left a lasting impression on students min

14、d (盛红艳184).In contemporary society, there is an increasing importance in English. English is used as a tool for our further study and work. So we should learn English better. However, backward students do not realize the importance of English and have no interest in English. This thesis focuses on discussing some effective ways of leading backward student in English leaning. In part one: it analyses backward students from the definition and features and interprets these students experiencing a special transition.In part two: it discusses the causes of backward students, wh
