Read the Culture Corner.To consolidate what students learned in class.Reflection after teaching 反思:这是一节典型的阅读课,主题是The Spirit of Explorers,我首先利用教材上的导入问题入手,以ppt图片辅以拓展信息,引导学生讨论exercise1和exercise2的内容,循序渐进,激发了学生对课文主题的兴趣,并调动了学生的学习积极性,驱动他们自主挖掘课文信息,合作完成设置练。在最后的讨论环节中,由于时间的限制,学生的小组活动开展不是很充分,对主题的探讨未能深入。选取一位学生代表作总结的尝试非常成功,今后可以适当增加学生在讨论环节的自主性。4
