1、Unit 8 Im watching TV教学目标1、知识目标: 1.)Learn to read and spell the new words correctly:use, wash, just, read a newspaper, make soup, go to the movies, eat out 2.)Learn to read and act the key drills:What are you doing? Imwatching TV.Whats he/she doing? He/Shes reading.What are they doing?Theyre watchin

2、g TV.3、情感态度价值观目标:通过学习活动培养动脑思考习惯,提高用英语交际的能力。教学重 点Words, phrases and target language in this class.教学难 点1. Talk about what people are doing.2. 现在分词的构成及读音。学情分 析大部分学生已具有了一定的英语基础,同时也具备一些语言知识的能力。本课内容与学生们生活息息相关,很容易产生兴趣,老师应在充分运用这一点,多创设情境,争取在口头交际中让学生掌握关键词汇和句型,为后面的学习创造条件。教学准 备Taperecorder,multimedium, ppt教学过程

Check the answers by reading through the listening conversations on P79.3) Read and try to recite the conversation in 2b, then role-play in pairs.Teacher: Watch the students and help them whenever necessary.
