9、fade;soshetookonlyasinglegreenleaf,carriedithome,andlaiditinherBible,whereitremainedevergreen,fresh,andunfading.BetweenthepagesoftheBibleitstilllaywhen,afewweeksafterwards,thatBiblewaslaidundertheyounggirlsheadinhercoffin.Aholycalmrestedonherface,asiftheearthlyremainsboretheimpressofthetruththatshen
10、owstoodinthepresenceofGod.IntheforestthewonderfulplantstillcontinuedtobloomtillitGREwandbecamealmostatree,andallthebirdsofpassagebowedthemselvesbeforeit.“Thatplantisaforeigner,nodoubt,”saidthethistlesandtheburdocks. “Wecanneverconductourselveslikethatinthiscountry.”Andtheblackforestsnailsactuallyspa
