1、(北师大版)英语教案五年级上册Unit 1 Anns dream The sixth periodReview .Review the main story together with the children. Have the children opan at page2 and 3.Encourage the children to role- play the story . To help the children ,you can be the narrator of the story.Lets sing .Have the children open their books a

2、t at the picture. Ask what they can see in the picture. Elicit spaceship,planet etc.Have the children read the lyrics first by themselves. Make sure that they all understand the meaning. Explain or demonstrate the meaningof the phrase goes around if necessary.Play the tape and have the children list

3、en.Play the song again. This time play the first verse only. Have the childrensing after the tape. Repeat with other verses. Play the song from the beginning and have the children sing along.Self-assessmentFind the words.Tell the children to look at the picture on the top of page 13.The first activi

4、ty in the assessment is a word game. Explain that in the letters around the picture there are 5words and they need to find out the words and then write on the space provided on the left. You can have the children complete the activity in pairs.It is also a good idea to have the children make up thei

5、r own word puzzle.In this way they will be both more motivated and involved mentally in the activity.Write about Anns dream.The children wrote about Uncle Bookys dream or their own dream in lesson 3. In this activity the requirement is to write about Anns dream.Go over the main story with the childr

6、en . Explain that this time you want them to tell the story from the third persons perspective. Beginning the story with the sentence“Ann had a dream last night.”Have the children complete the rest.Have the children look at the second activity. Tell them that you want them to write 3 sentences about

7、 Anns dream. Leave enough time for the childrento complete the writing. You can also ask the children to finish the work at home.Reflection.As you may notice, item in Reflection card in this book are written in English. You will need to help the children with the meaning of certain item or items so

8、that they can check their learning during the Unit by themselves.Ask the children to read the items Reflection card by themselves. Tell them to ask the teacher where they have difficulty with the meaning. Put the children into groups of 4 to complete the Reflection card .You are suggested to leave some time for the children to report their result when they finish. For example, the teacher can ask the children“Do you like Anns dream?”for item 1. Then ask individual child to give their reason for why or why not. .
