10、tion 1 1Purpose of this Introduction This introduction is intended to allow a quick entry into the work with the Legacy System Migration Workbench Version 1 7 LSM Workbench 1 2LSM Workbench What is it The LSM Workbench is an R 3 based tool that supports You when transferring data from non SAP system
11、s Legacy Systems to R 3 once or periodically The tool supports conversion of data of the legacy system in a convenient way The data can then be imported into the R 3 system via batch input direct input BAPIs or IDocs Furthermore the LSM Workbench provides a recording function that allows to generate
12、 a data migration object in an entry or change transaction 1 3Supported R 3 Releases Version 1 7 this version of the LSM Workbench can be used in R 3 systems with the following maintenance levels 4 0A 4 0B 4 5A 4 5B 4 6A 4 6B and 4 6C For maintenance levels earlier than 4 0 please use version 1 0 of
