In making jasmine tea, first pick a lot of jasmine flower buds and put them in a clean place; then at midnight when the flowers have the strongest fragrance, add green tea to them for absorption; next get rid of the withere

6、d jasmine flowers and get the tea leaves baked; then put the baked tea leaves into newly picked jasmine flowers again. This is repeated several times before the tea leaves are ready to be used.Longjing TeaLongjing tea is from Longjing, West Lake, Hangzhou. It is a top-grade green tea. It is recorded

7、 that tea was produced in Longjing in the Tang Dynasty. In the Qing Dynasty Longjing tea was the favorite one of Emperor Qianlong. It is made of tea shoot. They are green, fragrant, sweet and beautiful-four unique characteristics of longjing tea. In the past there were mainly four brands of Longjing

8、 tea: “shi”, “long”, “yun”, and “hu”. They were the four brands of Longjing tea produced in Shifeng, Longjing, Yunqi and Hupao respectively. Now they are classified into three brands: “shi”, “long”, and “mei”. “Mei” is the Longjing tea produced in MeijiawuMongolian Tea with MilkMongolians never have

9、 meals without tea with milk. In fact, they have “three teas and one meal” every day, rather than three meals. They have tea in the morning, at noon and in the evening, and have supper after work with their families. If they have beef and mutton for super, they will have an extra tea before they ret

10、ire for the evening. Their tea, of course, is not pure tea, but fragrant tea with milk, and is usually accompanied by such snacks as fried rice, milk cakes, deep fried milk products and boiled mutton.How to Select TeaThe following steps are some simple ways that may help tea drinkers select tea.A Te

11、a leaves should always be kept dry. Customers can use their fingers to press tea leaves to see if they are dry. Slight finger press easily breaks dry tea leaves into small pieces.B Aroma is the most important factor. Good tea always smells good.C The color of the tea liquid and the shape of tea leav

Generally, the tea liquid should remain clear and free of impurity, and the shape of good tea leaves in the liquid should be whole and even.Chinese Attitude toward Tea In fine, among all peoples in the world, the attitude of the Chinese toward tea is unique. They

13、 emphasize a lofty and leisurely mood, quiet and fine surroundings, freshness and clearness of water, elegant tea sets and close, good friends entertained. In tasting tea, although the Chinese take a great delight in its brewing, yet their real purpose is to achieve spiritual ascendancy. So, tea is not just for satisfying the taste, but is a part of life.3
