3、to record information before printing was invented . For example , they carved Chinese characters on stones , Later on pieces of wood to record information . But there was a problem with the method . What was the problem ? （It took a very long time to carve a page . But after you printed the book .
4、you had to throw away the carved pieces of wood . You couldnt use them again . In fact it is a lot of waste. ） Step 2. Presentation Today were going to learn an article which talks about paper.
