2、速读全文,初步掌握中心意思是动手解题之前的关键步骤。快速阅读,通篇思考,整体理解,切忌停顿,见空看答案。要把注意力放在中心意上, 不必弄细节。要用英文的方式去理解。精读全文,抓住中心意思展开做全题,进一步全面深入理解短文。解题过程中全面思考,瞻前顾后,上下文,前后句,都应顾及到,先填有把握的,后填无把 握的,切忌死扣一个题,寻找“暗示”,正确推理。复读全文,全面检查所选答案,是否符合中心意思,有无语言错误,对全文是否做到正确 理解。填空后的短文是否前后意思贯通一致,如果文章的首尾、上下文、前后句的意思矛盾或含 混不清,则根据短文的中心意思进行修改。在此基础上,句法、词法、惯用法等语法上考虑,检

3、查是否有误。四种方法:验证法:对基础比较好,语感比较强的学生用。排谬法:将给答案中有明显错误的排除掉。语法错误。时态、语态、词性、主谓一致。不符合语言习惯的。 习惯用法(词、词组)、表达法。明显违背短文的中心意思。推理法:根据上下文、前后句,推理判断。根据故事的情节、人物的语气、心绪、时空顺序推理判断。根据自己对有关知识的了解进行推理。背景知识,常识的了解。根据选择答案的词语本身内在含意的差别或其不同用法来推理判断。对比法:在程度上有点区别,可放在短文中前后对比,选更接近于短文中心意思的最佳答案。练习一:Last month, Patti Szuber died in a car accide
