1、课例课题:Module 6 Unit 4 Reading: The UN-bringing everyone closer together Teaching Designing Analysis of Learners Having learnt English for several years, students now possess the basic abilities of listening, reading and speaking. Therefore, they can finish the designed teaching and learning tasks. Af

2、ter learning the new words, students will have no difficulty understanding the main idea of the learning material. Before class, students have been asked to get some information about the UN from the textbook or the Internet, so they, of course, know something about the UN and the job of a UN Goodwi

3、ll Ambassador. However, since students are from the countryside, too shy to open their mouths, they need to be encouraged to speak out their own opinions in public. Most importantly, the topic of this unit is helping people around the world, so teaching tasks should go around one of the aimsdevelopi

4、ng love for others, but students now are mostly only one child, they are too selfish, only care about own feelings and do not like to help others. Pictures, videos, activities and teachers infectious words can help build loving atmosphere, which can help students develop love for other. Analysis of

5、Learning MaterialThis is a lesson in Module 6 which is published by Oxford University Press. Its the fourth unit of this module, called Helping people around the world. This unit is in the last position of this module, which plays an important part and it goes on introducing and developing the theme

6、 of understanding. This lesson is the second period of this unit and the title is The UN-bringing everyone closer together. In this part, students are told about the UN and the job of a UN Goodwill Ambassador, then to develop love for others. Teaching Aims:1. To enable the Ss to have a good understa

7、nding of the UN and the job of a Goodwill Ambassador2. To help the Ss develop abilities of listening, reading and speaking and the reading strategy of understanding a speakers attitude 3.
