1、Module 8 Unit 1 What do you suggest?高密市恒涛双语实验学校 付珍霞一、 教学目标1. 学习四会单词:quickly, dragon, kind, excited, suggest 等。掌握并熟练运用句型“What do you suggest? What about? Why dont you.? How about ?2. 能力目标1) 学会表达自己的观点并向他人征求意见。2) 通过观察微课中的情景表达,自己创设情景,综合运用所学语言进行交流,培养学生在实际生活中综合运用语言的交际能力和对语言的应变能力。3) 通过观看短片视频,培养善于观察,善于模仿,善于

2、表达的能力。3. 情感目标1) 学习如何给别人提建议,通过对事物的比较,表达自己的看法,激发互相帮助互相关心的爱心。2) 在小组合作中,培养合作意识。二、 教学重难点1. 重点:1)识记并理解词汇suggest, quickly, excited, America, Chinese, dragon.2)句型What do you suggest ? Why dont you ? How about? What about?2. 难点在真实的情景中运用重点句型进行口语交际。三、 教具 课件、单词卡片、短片四、 教学过程1. Warming up(热身活动)(1)Greetings: Good m

3、orning , boys and girls ! Before the class, lets sing and perform the song Great! Your voice is so beautiful. This class, I will divided you into four groups. Well climb the Tianshan Mountain. Lets me which group climb quickly and get to the top first. (学习quickly 一词,并将单词卡片贴在黑板上) Come on!【设计意图】:复习上模块

4、中的歌曲,热身导入课堂,让学生沉浸在愉快的音乐旋律中。同时进行分组,说明本课评价方式。2 Presentation( 新课呈现) 出去父亲的照片,说父亲的生日快到了,要给父亲准备一件礼物,请学生帮忙,选择什么样的礼物合适,用课件展示超市,展示单词图片,bag, pen, cap, T-shirt , book, kite,等等。回答的时间用上句型I can see a并从中学习 dragon 及dragon kite 还是kind.【设计意图】复习部分名词为后面的对话练习做好铺垫。T: Lets go to the supermarket and find a present. Do you

5、agree ?S: Yes, I agree. T: What can you see in the supermarket ?S: I can see a .2. New Paterns (句型教学)活动一学习本课的重点句型。9Teacher: Just now I said I want to buy a present for my father. His birthday is (1)coming. What do you suggest ? Teach “ suggest “.并将单词教学生读会,贴在黑板上 (引出本课主题,板出课题)教师板书“ What do you suggest

6、 ?”并念领读。T :I want to buy a present for my father. What do you suggest ? A book? A pen?S: A T-shirt. T: You can say “ What about a T-shirt ? What do you suggest ?S: What about a T-shirt ?T: I dont agree. Hes got a new one.(板书What about?向另一个学生学习寻求建议S:What about a book ?T: I dont agree. He doesns like

7、reading. You also can say “How about ? 板书“ How about ?S: How about a cake ?T: Great ! I agree. Thats a good idea. You also can say “ Why dont you give him a cake ?”. (板书Why dont you give him?)英语小博士总结表达建议三个句型,播放提前录制好的音频。(2)利用单词图片,操练句型播放, 两个操练句型的短片,让学生在小组内模仿操练。S1: A cake . S2: What about a cake ? S3:

8、How about a cake? S4: Why dont you give him a cake. 【设计意图】机械操练句型,为后面的对话学习降低难度,同时还让学生区别使用名词的单复数。小组展示,对其表现奖励上移1到2个格。活动二(1)播放两个短片,介绍主人公。.如: This is Nancy. Her fathers birthday is coming. She wants to give her father a present. What does her friends suggest ?Lets watch the video.(2)让学生观看两个短片,然后在小组内表演,最后

9、展示,教师根据他们的表现做出相应的奖励。【设计意图】短片呈现的是意思完整的情景对话,学生从中观察学习,模仿,很快理解并学会运用,这样比在课堂现场让学生展示,节省时间,效果又好。4.New text(课文学习)Daming is going to go America.(学习America) He wants to take a present for his cousin.He telephoned Sam for advice.What does Sam suggest ?Lets come to the text.(1) Listen and circle .听音,圈出你听的两项内容。 (

10、2). Watch and find (看DVD, 小组讨论出Sams suggestions.) (3)Watch again.再看DVD, What does Daming think of Sams three suggestions? 在回答对第一个建议的回答时,教师要问为什么,引出Damings mum and grandma are Chinese.,教授“Chinese” 一词。教师最后问 So whats the present ? S: A Chinese dragon kite. 这时请英语小博士来讲解Chinese 的用法。5.Practice and summary(练

11、习与小结) 活动一 I didnt have anything this morning. So now I m hungry and thirsty. I want to eat and drink something. What do you suggest ?If your suggestion is right in my teaching bag, you can get a chance to climb the mountain.S: How about a ? What a bout a ? Why dont you eat/ drink.?【设计意图】设计这一活动,让学猜教师

12、袋子里的东西,他建议的东西正好老师袋子里有,可以获得奖励,既增加了,竞争性,趣味性,又巩固了句型。活动二“献爱心”,播放贫困山区的孩子的学习和生活,讨论所需要的物品。【设计意图】设计这一环节,让学生了解还有好多他们同龄的孩子的生活多么艰苦,他们需要我们的帮助,让学生学会珍惜,学会关爱他们。同时也将所学句型学以致用。活动三:PicnicT:My pupils are going to have a picnic this weekend.What will they take?Watch the video.Do you want to have a picnic this weekend? What will you take? What do you suggest? Discuss in your group.【设计意图】播放教师的学生计划野餐要带什么的情景对话,给学生一个展示,为下面布置作业做好铺垫,又降低课后作业的难度。6.Homework.(课后作业) 1.小组长整理你们讨论野餐带什么时的对话,课间排练,并在下一节课表演。2.读第八模块第一单元课文3遍。 【设计意图】作业布置体现了学以致用,让学生以小组为单位计划野餐要带的东西,用上所学句型,小组长整理对话,在课后反复表演,以供下节课展示,操作性强。
