1、PEP五年级下册unit2 story time 教学设计执教者:艾花 单位:衙前中心学校 授课时间:2013-3-22一、Teaching materials analysis本课是pep英语五年级下册第二单元Part C story time.整个单元以seasons为中心话题,围绕着描述“Whats your favorite season?”展开。本节课的story time 主要是对本单元知识的整合,由于故事中有许多生词、生句,这就增加了学生学习的难度。因此,本节课我借助生动的多媒体动画、录音、图片、文字、音乐等,触动学生多种感官,让学生全身心投入课堂中。针对本堂课的重难点,我先把关

2、键的生词、句解决,再采用任务型教学方法,任务由易到难,个个击破。做到既能巩固所学知识,又能提高解决问题的能力以及综合运用语言能力,从而完成教学任务。二、 Teaching aims1、知识目标:通过对单元知识的巩固,读懂故事,体会故事的趣味性,并能表演故事。2、能力目标:(1)能够认读:winter coat, bathing suit, sunglasses, ice skates等新单词 (2)能够理解I cant believe this. How did that happen? 以及I am going to的学说3、情感目标:不当马虎的孩子,应该认真做好每件事。三、 Key and

3、 difficult points学生能抓住短文的关键信息,能听懂、理解短文,体会故事的趣味性。四、 Teaching aids单词卡片 太阳眼镜 多媒体课件五、Teaching stepsStep 1. Warm up (1) Lets sing a song (2)T:How many seasons are there in a year? (Ss回答,呈现四季特征图片)复习本单元的主要句型及其回答:Whats your favorite season? Which season do you like best? Spring / Summer / Fall / Winter. Why

4、? Because I can .Step 2Revision and presentationT:Which season is it now ? Ss: Spring (Its spring time now)T:Spring goes ,what comes? Ss: Summer.T: Yes . My favourite season is summer .Do you know why? Ss. ( Because there is a summer vacation in summer.)T: Where are you going on summer vacation?For

5、example: I am going to Beijing/I am going to.T: You know I have a twin sister. We are very different. I like swimming, but she likes skating. So she is going to Australia this summer vacation. I am going to Hawaii.Look! Whats the weather like there? (呈现夏威夷的图片) Ss: 回答.T: Its so warm there .what do I

6、need? 以此引出bathing suit ,sunglasses(多媒体呈现两个生词的相应图片及儿童眼镜模特)T:Now I have a pair of sunglasses .老师戴上:How do I look? Am I cool?Who would like to try? Ss戴上 教师评价Look ,this is my case . (Lets have a look, whats in it?)结果发现箱子里不是太阳眼镜和泳衣,而是一件大棉袄和一双滑冰鞋。T:oh my god ! (惊讶状)I cant believe this. How did that happen

7、? Maybe I took the wrong case(This is my twin sisters case) .由此引出winter coat and ice skates. (多媒体呈现这两个生词的相应图片,教师可指着图片问多个学生,Whats this ?学生回答后,教师重复I cant believe this/my eyes. How did that happen? 这样就让学生熟悉了新词语和句子I cant believe this.T: Im so careless. Do you think I will have a happy vacation? How did

8、THAT happen? ( Because I took the wrong case.) Step 3 Lets read and answer1. T: In fact, our friends Zoom and Zip are going on their vacation, too. Do you want to know “Where are Zip and Zoom going? When are they going? ”Lets watch the video, and find out. (播放故事的前两幅图)教师利用板书引导学生齐读Zip is going to Aust

9、ralia. Zoom is going to Canada.(板书Australia和 Canada)教师提出问题:What do they have? What can they do there?(播放另外的四幅图片,让学生找答案)同时一一呈现新单词,带读新词并板书整篇故事听一遍,再分组朗读,同桌之间练习后,表演故事。Sum up:Do you think they will have a happy vacation? Ss:回答。T:不当马虎的孩子,认真做好每件事!Step 4. Extension. (Plan our vacation)T: Zoom and Zip didnt

10、have a happy vacation. But I hope you have. Now, lets plan your vacation课件出示例子I am going to Hainan on my vacation. Its so warm there, I can swim all day.
