1、no matter 意为“无论”， 与 what ,who, when, where, which, how,等疑问词连用，引导让步状语从句。（注意：why一般不放在no matter 后面）状语从句的位置可放在主句前或后。在这种让步状语从句中， 我们一般用一般现在时代替一般将来时，用一般过去时代替过去将来时。what 在让步状语从句中充当主语或宾语，有时也充当表语。e.g No matter what you say, I wont believe you. (宾语) We will carry the reform to the end no matter what happens. (主
2、语) No matter what you are, you should serve the people. (表语) who 在让步状语从句中充当主语，其宾语形式为whom, 形容词形式为whose.e.g No matter who said this, he was wrong.(主语) He insisted on giving the money back no matter whom it belonged to.（宾语） I want to borrow the bike for a while no matter whose it is as Im in a hurry. w
3、hen在状语从句中充当时间状语。e.g No matter when you are free, you can come here for a cup of coffee. He was always working no matter when i went to see him. where在状语从句中充当地点状语。e.g The police will find the criminal no matter where he hides himself. No matter where one goes, he can never forget his hometown. which在
4、状语从句中充当定语。e.g I shall give the book to you no matter which one you like. 但请注意下一句,我们用what, 而不用which. No matter what trouble jack gets into, he never seems to lose heart. how 后面要接形容词或副词，再接从句主语和谓语，一起构成让步状语从句。其结构为: how +adj./adv. +s(主语) +v（谓语） +其他，s主句 + v主句 +其他。e.g No matter how tired he was, he went on

He failed again no matter how hard he tried. 引导让步状语从句的引导词有许多，其中疑问词后接ever，如： whatever, whoever, whichever, whenever, wherever, however, 等也可以引导让步状语从句，而且意思和no matter 加疑问词相同。但值得注意的是，no matter 加疑问词只能引导让步状语从句，而疑问词后接ever 除了引导让步状语从句，还可以引导主语从句和宾语从句。比较下列几组例句。 Ill eat whatever (不等于no matter wh
