1、沈阳师范大学 硕士学位论文 从翻译心理学角度评了不起的盖茨比三个中译本 姓名：刘慧林 申请学位级别：硕士 专业：外国语言学及应用语言学 指导教师：史国强 20090501 vii 摘摘 要要 翻译心理学是近几年新兴起的一门交叉学科， 它主要是研究译者在翻译过程 种的心理活动。虽然翻译心理学并不是当下翻译界谈论最多的翻译理论， 但作 为一门新兴学科 它为我们提供了一种新的研究翻译规律的视角，一方面，译者 在翻译过程中必然要产生心理活动，否则翻译根本无法进行。另一方面，译者作 为翻译的主体，不可避免要在译作中留下自己的影子。所以本文的写作目的就是 通过了不起的盖茨比三个中译本的比较，试图找出在翻译
2、过程中，翻译心理 对译者的影响，进而发现二者之间微妙的关系。本文通过分析讨论翻译心理学在 译本中的体现，旨在探索出翻译心理如何影响译者在翻译过程中的翻译心理。 本文属于个案对比研究，即从翻译心理学角度对了不起的盖茨比三个中 译本的比较看翻译心理学在译本中的体现。这三个中文译本分别是范岳的大人 物盖茨比 （1983） 、巫宁坤的了不起的盖茨比 （2002）和姚乃强的了不起 的盖茨比 （2004） 。写作目的是找出翻译心理如何影响译者的翻译活动。第一章 主要介绍写作目的、意义和文章结构。第二章介绍了不起的盖茨比 、作者及 译者、译本。第三章介绍翻译心理学理论。第四章主要对三个中文译本做了对比 研究
3、，从语言学、文化、逻辑三方面对翻译心理进行了分析。语言学方面包括词 语的拼写、词语的翻译、句子的翻译、语法的翻译；语境部分包括宏观语境和微 观语境的翻译；文化方面主要是文化差异与心理差异和跨文化翻译心理；逻辑部 分主要是时间逻辑、地点逻辑、原因逻辑、风格表达、主观与客观表达、延伸和 关联。最后的第五章本文总结了各个对比的不同之处，不仅涉及到语言、文化、 语境还包括翻译心理和逻辑。 viii 翻译心理的研究， 是从新的视角对翻译理论的研究， 深化对翻译本质的了解、 分析翻译活动并验证翻译心理在翻译过程中的表现方式。 关键词关键词：翻译心理学；语言心理；翻译心理； 了不起的盖茨比 ；译本比较 v
4、Abstract Translation psychology is a newly emerged translation theory which investigates translators psychological activity in the process of translating. It is a science which is concerned about the relationship between translation and psychology. On one hand, translator can not translate without h
5、is psychological activity. On the other hand, translator as the subject in translating, inevitably, will find himself in his translation. So this thesis intends to explore how translation psychology takes place in three Chinese versions of The Great Gatsby, a great book with various Chinese versions

By the application and the description of translation psychology, the approach intends to provide a way to construct a new theoretical system of translation studies and to guide the whole process of translation as well as translation related activities. Therefore it may greatly widen the theoretic
7、al scope of translation studies. This thesis is a case study of three Chinese translations of The Great Gatsby from the perspective of translation psychology. They are Fan Yues version published in 1985, Wu Ningkuns version published in 2002, and Yao Naiqiangs version in 2004. The purpose is to find
8、 out how translation is influenced by translation psychology, and how translation psychology works to influence the translator. The introduction introduces the purpose, significance and structure of the thesis. Chapter two discusses the research on the Chinese versions of The Great Gatsby, which can
9、 be divided into three parts: the author, the original work, and the translated versions. Chapter three explains the theory of translation psychology. Chapter four vi compares the differences between the three versions from the perspective of translation psychology. It falls into four parts, the lan
10、guage psychology, psychological process of translation, language understanding, and translating psychology, and language generating and translating psychology. Then, in Chapter Five I explore the reasons behind all these differences, including those having to do with linguistic, culture, context as
11、well as logic and translation psychology. With the introduction and the application of translation psychology, we can launch the translation studies from a new perspective, deepen our understanding of the nature of translation and analyze the translation activity, and, what is more, testify the role
12、 of translation psychology in translation. 14、n and psychology. It develops into a science at the beginning of the 21st century though it had been mentioned and draw intellectuals attention long time ago. In the middle 20th century, translation psychology can find its way in several linguistic teaching materials and translators research papers

The early translation psychology can be found in several linguists research papers (Kade 1968; Nida 1969; Diler Stein 1980; Horing translation psychological activity is formed by the exchange of mental representativ
