4、ublic Radios reporter Neal Conan. “What Im hoping to accomplish is that my generation and younger start to reconsider and understand that jazz is not black and white anymore. Its actually colour, and its actually digital.” Moran says one of the problems with jazz today is that the entertainment aspe

5、ct of the music has been lost. “The music cant be presented today the way it was in 1908 or 1958. It has to continue to move, because the way the world works is not the same,” says Moran. Last year, Moran worked on a project that arranged Fats Wallers music for a dance party, “just to kind of put it

6、 back in the mind that Waller is dance music as much as it is concert music,” says Moran. “For me, its the recontextualization. In music, where does the emotion(情感) lie? Are we, as humans, gaining any insight(感悟) on how to talk about ourselves and how something as abstract as a Charlie Parker record

7、 gets us into a dialogue about our emotions and our thoughts? Sometimes we lose sight that the music has a wider context,” says Moran, “so I want to continue 2 those dialogues. 15、如果每个段落都有主 题句,那么把各段落的主题句的中心思想集中起来,即为全文的主题句。 三、逆向思维法 如果考生觉得文章大意难以总结,不妨采取逆向思维,从四个选项下 手。也就是思考四个选项:如果我是作者,遇到这样的标题,文章应该写些什么内容? 例如第 31 题,考生可采用逆向思维法,思考四个选项分别该怎么写。如果是 A 选项 4 Exploring the Future of jazz,那么文章应该会讲到爵士乐的现状,以及就未来发展提出一些 看法或者建议。如果是 B 选项 The Rise and Fall of jazz.为文章标题,那么文章至少涉及两个 方面,也就是爵士乐的繁荣时期和衰败时期
