15、2evidenceareused''(Yin,1989,p.23).Real-companiesinterviewedwerecontractors,lifecontext,unclearboundariesandmultiplemanufacturersandwholesalersofbuildingsourcesofevidenceareallaspectsthatmaterials.Seveninterviewswereconducteddominatetheresearchquestion.ThesecondwithgeneralmanagersofEDIandPD
16、Ireasonforadoptingthecase-studyapproachorganisations.BecausehardlyanycompanyinisthatonecannotmanipulateorcontrolthetheDutchbuildingindustryhadoperationalconditionsinwhichtheresearchistakingexperiencewiththeinterorganisationaluseofplace.PDI,itwasdecidedtointerviewmanagersofbranchorganisationsresponsiblefortheexecutionofPDIpilotprojects(seeTableI).TheoreticalbackgroundDataweregatheredbyinterviewingEDITransactioncostseconomicsandPDImanagers,supplementedwithInthispaperconcepts
