What are you going to be when you grow up？你长大以后打算做什么？ “be going to动词原形”构成一般将来时态，表示计划或安排要发生的 动作，有时也可以表示推测将要或肯定会发生的动作，有“准备；打算” 之意。其中的be要根据句子的主语来确定，一般将来时常与表示将来的时 间状语如tomorrow，next week，next Sunday等连用。 when此处用作连词，意为“当时”，用来引导时间状语从句。在when引 导的时间状语从句中，
2、主句是一般将来时，从句要用一般现在时表示将来。 eg：Im going to give her a present when she comes.当她来的时候我打算给她一份 礼物。 grow up意为“成长；长大”，其中grow的过去式为grew。 take acting lessons上表演课 acting是act的现在分词形式，在此处作定语，修饰lessons。 eg：If you want to be an actor，youd better take acting lessons.如果你想当一 名演员，你最好上表演课。 【拓展】act动词，意为“表演”。 actor/actress名词
