1、Grammar Fronting 用基本模式，强调的 重点是形容词 ( efficient/ expensive). not soas: (used in comparisons) not to the same degree e.g. Its not as/so easy as youd think. He was not as/so quick a learner as his brother. The negative form of asas is “not asas” or “not soas”. But so may not be used : 1.after the contra
2、cted form such as isnt, dont. e.g. John is not as/so bright as Bob. John isnt as bright as Bob. 2.when there are other lexical items between the negative word and asas construction. e.g. Michael does not swim as well as Paul. However, when adverbs with negative meanings, such as not nearly, not quit
