This obliges us all to undertake special efforts to ensure fault free deli
9、very. BMW response to achieve this demand is by continuous examination and improvement of its operation process. The closed-loop control system includes: ? Joint agreement on quality targets ? Continuous measurement and evaluation of service quality ( see attachment: Service Provider Evaluation ) ?
10、Improvement development and transfer of knowledge to all operations BMW Group expects its Service Providers to supply a perfect quality of service on the basis of an effective quality management system. This “Operations Manual” sets out the core conditions required for the correct handling of BMW au
11、tomobiles in transportation. 1.2 Purpose of the Operations Manual Preservation the quality and value of our cars during transportation, shipment and storage are of the greatest importance. The target of these rules is the backup of all measures that are in place for the prevention and avoidance of t
12、ransportation-, shipment- or storage damages. They are part of all contracts between Transport Logistics BMW Group and transportation partners. Non-compliance or breach can lead to immediate cancellation of the overall contract and blanket orders. For haulage by road, BMW rules essentially cover the
13、mselves with the driver statement of the VDA: “Problem-free Loading, Transportation, Damage Avoidance” that is available for transportation on the continent in respective language of the country. We expect its continuous presence from the drivers of our partners. This brochure is available at BMW Gr
14、oup “Transportation Technology and Quality”. BMW deviations or supplements to this VDA Brochure are sent to partners of BMW on a corresponding supplementary leaflet. Transportlogistics BMW Group, department Transport Technology and Quality ( or its agents ) reserves the right for themselves to contr
15、ol at any time compliance with these rules throughout the partner groups.
