7、sis.Most of these copper deposits are located in proximity to the majoractive faults or the contemporaneous faults. Ore structures are mainly brecciated andmassive.Metal mineral association is characterised by abundant tetrahedrite- tennantiteseries (Cu12Sb4S13- Cu12As4S13),especially the tennantite
8、s.Element association is char-acterised by Cu- As- Sb- Ag- Zn- (Au)- (Hg)- ( Co)- (Ga).REE patterns of veinminerals show an enrichment of middle REE (Sm- Ho) and a weak or no europiumanomaly. These features,combined with the analysis of mineralization environment,leadus to conclude that thevein copp
9、er deposits in this areawas formed during thecontinen-tal hydrothermal sedimentation and hydrothermal boiling in the shallow portion wastheir main metallogenetic mechanism.They thus represent a new type of copper depositin genetic sense.Key words:vein copper deposit, geochemical characteristics, continental hy-drothermal sedimentation,Yunnan631:B5o+#y
