1、Module 6 Unit 2 There is a small monster1教学目标 知识目标(Aims of Knowledge):全体学生能听懂,会说,会运用:There is a nose on your face.There are two big eyes on your face.能力目标(Aims of Ability):能用 there be句型描述存在和数量。情感目标及文化意识(Aims of Emotion & Cultural Awareness):能体会到学习英语的乐趣;能初步注意到中外文化异同。2学情分析 我所教授的学生来自三年级,目前为止他们已有一定的英语基础

2、,能用英语做游戏,唱歌,讲故事,能进行简单的交流,对于英语的学习他们变得越来越有兴趣。3重点难点 there is 和 there are 的发音,含义及用法。4教学过程 活动1【导入】热身 1. Show songs about bodies. Head, Shoulders.Sing the song together and do the actions follow two children.对于shoulders学生总是习惯忽略复数形式,应关注。2. (1) Play the cartoon. Watch the cartoon together. (2)Ask one questi

3、on: Whats the girl doing?Answer the question: Shes making a snowman.(3)Say and do one sentence by sentence.(4)Say and do in pairs.(5)Say and do together.歌曲中there is 与there are 没有连读,如有学生质疑则回答:因为节拍。如没有质疑则在第二部分处理。活动2【讲授】任务呈现 Show a snowman.Today, lets make a snowman with there be.(1)Open exercise books

4、. Fill in the blanks.(2)Read in groups and check.(3)Come to the front, read and move.可能会有部分学生is和are的区分会有问题,所以小组核对后,前面汇报的学生读后,其他人跟着齐读,夯实句子。活动3【讲授】任务准备 1. Show the cartoon.Ss watch the cartoon together. And answer: What are they doing?2. Play the CD and ask: How many small monsters are there?(1) Liste

5、n and repeat.(2) Answer the question.3. Play the CD.(1) Listen and repeat again.(2) Read and try to ask some questions in groups.E.G: How many hands?There are twenty-four hands.(3)Show time.学生提问环节可能会针对big monster 或 small monster 提出问题。如How many hands has small monster got? 但问题对学生来说较难。学生一问一答时呈现大图,如果有数

6、量上的歧义可运用白板放大镜。4. Group Work.(1)Discuss in groups, the usage of there is and are. Team leader records.(2) Share the knowledge points.(3) Write down the knowledge points. 教师巡视时观察学生是否能说出:1. 用法;2. 含义;3. 连读。连读可能稍难,在Activity 2 进行处理。5. Play the CD.(1) Read in roles in groups.(2)Show in groups.活动4【活动】任务完成 1

7、. Let Ss do exercise on page 45 .(1) Do it on their own.(2) Say out the answers and read the sentences.(3) Describe the picture with there is and there are in groups.(4) Come to the front. Say and circle.2. Draw a monster.(1)Teacher draws a monster.
