1、Unit 7 So much to do before we travel! 【课题】So much to do before we travel!【设计理念】:针对中职教育的特殊性以及学生英语学习的实际情况,通过直观展示、小组竞赛、讨论等形式,将英文学习与实际生活联系起来,并构建与旅行相关的语境,充分发挥学生的主观能动性,提高学生的表达能力和团队协作能力。通过多元评价方式,激发学生的学习积极性,激活课堂气氛。【教材分析】:本节课是第七单元的第四课时,在复习所学知识的基础上,通过创设关于旅行的情境,让学生运用所学知识并查找资料,发挥学生的主动性,通过团队合作,制定旅行计划,并向他人展示。【学情

2、分析】:中职学校的学生学习的积极性相对较差,特别是英语学科,学生的英语基础比较薄弱,层次也比较分明,因此通过不同的活动,让各个层次的学生都能够参与到课堂中来,结合小组讨论及竞赛的方式,发挥学生的积极性和主动性,通过填写银行表单,将英语与专业相联系,锻炼学生的实际应用能力。同时在课前,布置学生查找他们感兴趣的旅游景点的资料,并制作展示,提高学生的自主学习能力和团队合作能力。【课时安排】:1课时【教学过程】:Teaching Aims and Demands:1. To master the words concerning about traveling.2. To master sentenc

3、es for giving suggestions and expressions about traveling.3. To improve the students speaking and teamwork abilities.4. Be able to fill in application forms.5. Be able to show travel plans.Teaching Keys and Difficult Points:1. To master language points and knowledge concerning about traveling.2. To

4、fill in application forms correctly.3. Work out travel plans by group discussion and co-operation and present their travel plans.Morality Aims:1. To inspire the students enthusiasm for leaning English.2. To improve the students practical applied ability.3. To develop the students teamwork ability.Te

Review the words and expressions individually by showing pictures on Power Points, including brochure, camera, umbrella, forest,

6、agency, hostel, backpack, passport, life ring, bathing suit, tent, etc.2. Review some words about students major, including FX Sale, FX Purchase, Currency, Amount, and Applicant, etc.3. Review the previous dialogue and make sure students digest some important sentences or expressions. What about tra

7、veling together? Where shall we go? How about visiting a big city? Lets go to the countryside. Thats a wonderful idea. What do we need to take with us? Where shall we stay? Shall we book a hotel?Step 2 Ticking1. Show a video of places of interest to give the students a visual impression, including t

8、he Great Wall, the Empire State Building, the Summer Palace, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Statue of Liberty and so on.2. Group work. Ask the students to tick out the places showed in the video in limited time.Step 3 Listing 1. Show four pictures on the screen and each group choose one of them randoml

Give another situation about one student travelling abroad to broaden their minds. The information of the student w

Form: Application for Individual Foreign Exchange Sale and Purchase.Step 4 Travel Plan 1. Ask each group where their travel plan leads to. 2. Each group chooses one or several student(s) to

The representative(s) of each group should sum up the group members ideas and the travel plan should contain the place, things took with, price, the view, etc.Step 6 SummaryThe teacher evaluates their performance and makes the summary about students presentations.
