1、沈阳师范大学 硕士学位论文 礼貌原则在口译中的应用 姓名：陈路曦 申请学位级别：硕士 专业：外国语言学及应用语言学 指导教师：闫怡恂 20090501 iv 摘摘 要要 口译是一种以口译员为媒介的特殊的会话形式， 是交际双方或多方对话畅通 的唯一必经之路，因此口译员是会话的促成者，保证者，而礼貌的气氛更是这种 会话开展的前提。为研究会话交际而提出的礼貌原则，对口译这种特殊的会话形 式同样适用。本文旨在揭示在口译这个跨文化交际活动中，为使操不同语言的双 方，在礼貌的氛围中，顺利、融洽地交流，作为交际桥梁的口议员如何在口译中 运用礼貌原则。 本文分为五部分进行阐述。第一部分介绍了整片论文的布局,包
2、括研究原因、 研究目的。第二部分回顾了口译、礼貌原则以及相关的翻译理论。第三部分是论 文的主体部分，共分四个部分展开。首先叙述了在口译过程中，利用议员的主体 性，如何使用礼貌原则；然后通过理论与案例分析相结合的形式，指出如何在口 译中运用礼貌原则达到更加完美的口译效果，创造交际双方和谐气氛。第四部分 阐述了对今后口译研究的启示， 包括在礼貌原则指导下具体的口译策略和非言语 交际。第五部分是全文的总结部分，包括本文的主要研究观点，研究的局限性， 以及作者对今后相关研究的建议。 通过研究， 希望能唤起人们对口译中礼貌问题的重视并在合理的前提下使用 该原则，以达到更好的交际效果。也希望通过口译策略的
3、提出使理论研究更好地 为实践服务，为今后的研究提供一定的素材。 关键词关键词：口译；礼貌原则；口译策略 ii Abstract Interpretation is understood as a special conversation. The success of this conversation needs a media-interpreter. During interpretation, interpreters need to cooperate both with the speakers and listeners, and they also need to contro
4、l the atmosphere of this conversation and keep this special conversation polite. As we all known, politeness principles is used to research communicative conversation, so it is also can be applied into interpretation which can be seen as a special conversation. This paper based on the analysis of po
5、liteness in interpretation, explains the instructive function of the principle in interpretation and emphasis the communicative role of interpreter. This paper is divided into the following five chapters. Chapter One is the brief introduction of the whole thesis, including rationale for the study, p
6、urpose of the study, and the organization of the thesis. Chapter Two gives a review of related literature. Chapter Three is the main body of the paper, falling into four parts. The first part explains possible steps to manipulate with subjectivity. The next two parts are form perspective of theoreti
7、cal analysis and case study, the author finds the instructive function of this principle in interpretation. Chapter Four is the enlightenment to interpretation after the research, including strategies for politeness interpretation and its related factors and nonverbal communication under the directi
8、on of Politeness Principle. The last chapter is the conclusive part of this thesis, including summary of the thesis, major findings in this study, the limitation of the study and the implication iii for the future research. By finishing this paper, the author hopes to arouse more attention to this i
9、ssue in order to achieve the best results in interpretation. Hopefully, the study of the application of politeness principle in interpretation will bring enlightenment to the studies in the future work. Thus, inter
13、preters are enjoying a constantly improved position in international communications, acting as bridges which make people of different languages and background connected. Gradually, besides message transformation more elements should be considered in interpretation, especially politeness. The politen
14、ess principle is proposed by Leech, which is a series of maxims to explain how politeness operates in conversational exchanges. It keeps the polite atmosphere of relative harmony and regulates the behaviors of participants in social interactions. It is aware that interpreters should not only transfe
15、r the message the speaker want, but also the politeness atmosphere. In this case, the study of the application of Politeness Principle in interpretation will bring enlightenment in the future work. 1.2 Rationale and Significance Interpretation is understood as a special conversation.
