7、alling your software With the release of the expanded range of 2004 products, Altium has introduced a new licensing system to make the management of the licensing options easier to administer and manage. Under this system Altium collects hardware data from each machine with an Altium node-locked lic
8、ence installed. The hardware information collected is not shared with any external third party or used by Altium for any reason other than license management. Important: Please refer to the System Requirements leaflet included in your LiveDesign Evaluation Kit for information on recommended system r
9、equirements and requirements for FPGA design. To begin the install process, simply insert the Software Installation CD into your computers CD ROM drive. The Installation Wizard will automatically start and guide you through the installation process. If the Installation Wizard does not start automati
10、cally, run Setup.exe located in the Setup directory on the program CD. Step 1 Quickstart Guide|4 A License Agreement screen will now appear (not illustrated). You must accept the license agreement in order to proceed. Once you have accepted you will be asked to enter your full name and the organizat
11、ion name in order to personalize your installation. Step 2 The following screen will appear when 2004 has been successfully installed. Steps 5-8 will guide you through the process of installing the examples and support files. Select the folder where you wish to install the files for 2004. Click Next
12、 and the Ready to install the application screen will appear (not illustrated). Click Next again and the installation will begin. Step 4 Step 3 Installing your examples and support files Important note: This update must be installed after installing the 2004 software from the Software Installation C
13、D. Quickstart Guide|5 To begin the update process, simply insert the LiveDesign Evaluation Kit Examples and Support Files CD (Disk 2) into your computers CD ROM drive. The Installation Wizard will automatically start and guide you through the installation process. If the Installation Wizard does not
14、 start automatically, run Setup.exe located in the Setup directory on the update CD. Step 5 The Installation Wizard will automatically search for a valid 2004 installation and prompt this as the Destination Folder. If for some reason this folder is not found use the Browse button and manually select
15、 the 2004 application folder. Click Next and the Start Installation screen will appear (not illustrated). Click Next again and the installation will begin. A License Agreement screen will now appear. You must accept the license agreement in order to proceed. Once you have accepted the license agreem
16、ent you will be prompted for the destination location. Step 7 Step 6 The following screen will appear when the LiveDesign Evaluation Kit Examples and Support Files have been successfully installed. Steps 9-13 will guide you through the licence activation process. Step 8 To launch the Activation Wizard, start the 2004 software from the Start menu.
