2、dom). The responsible German body involved in its preparation was the Normenausschuss Bauwesen (Building and Civil Engineering Standards Committee), Technical Committee 08.16.00 Tragwerksbemessung. This European Standard is part of a series of standards dealing with structural design (Eurocodes). In
3、 Guidance Paper L on the application and use of Eurocodes, issued by the EU Commission, reference is made to transitional periods for the introduction of the Eurocodes in the Member states. The transitional periods are given in the Foreword of this standard. A national annex will be prepared in the
4、course of the transitional periods. Amendments This standard differs from DIN V ENV 1993-1-1, April 1993 edition, DIN V ENV 1993-1-1/A1 and DIN V ENV 1993-1-1/A2, May 2002 editions, as follows: a) The standard has been split into Part 1-1, Part 1-8, Part 1-9, Part 1-10 and Part 1-11 (in preparation)
5、. b) The comments received from the national standardization bodies have been taken into account and the text of the standard has been completely revised.
