7、rise a peak of shopping. And the businessman will use all ways, to associate their goods to the festival and make profits; as a result the festival would have some impact on Chinese economy. Spring Festival and Christmas are important festivals in China and western countries respectively. They have
8、different cultural connotations. The traditional Chinese culture represented by Spring Festival and the western culture characterized by Christmas both have effects on economy greatly. My paper focuses on the impact of Spring Festival and Christmas on the Chinese economic development and its existin
9、g problems, as well as the affects of business activity on the Spring Festival and the Christmas.Then I try to give some ideas on how the festival promotes the economy, which may help us to know more about the culture of festivals from the point of economy.Key words: Spring Festival; Christmas; Chin
