3、he stayed up late lat night.比较状语从句than; as. as; not as/so. asMary is as quiet as her pen pal.2、 状语从句中的重点用法1. 时间状语从句（1） when 与 while 意为“在.期间，当.的时候”a: when 引导的从句中的动词可以是非延续性动词，也可以是延续性动词，而while引导的从句中的动词必须是延续性动词Eg: My son was cooking dinner when I got home.（2） while 还可译为“而，却”，表示对比关系Eg: I like singing whi
4、le my friend likes dancing.2. until的用法（1） not. until. 直到. 才.（2） Until. 直到. 为止3. 时间状语从句和条件状语从句中的必考点、重难点主将从现Eg: I will visit my good friend when I am free. 主将 从现 when引导的时间状语从句 If she come here tomorrow, I will go to the park with her. 从现 主将If 引导的条件状语从句4. 宾语从句和条件状语从句同时出现Eg: I dont know if he will come.
5、 If he comes, I will tell him about the accident. 从现 主将句中第一个if 跟在动词know后面，引导的是宾语从句，宾语从句根据语境该用什么时态就用什么时态！句中第二个if引导的是条件状语从句，遵从“主将从现”5. 目的状语从句so that + 从句in order that + 从句 = in order to do sth.6. 结果状语从句（1）so + adj./adv. + that 从句 = too + adj./adv. + to + do sth. = not + adj. + enough + to do sth. （ps:
6、adj.是前面adj.的反义词）Eg: The boy is so young that he cant go to school. = The boy is too young to go to school. = The boy is not old enough to go to school.（2） Such + n.+ that 从句Eg：Jack was such a clever boy that he solved the hard problem.7. 让步状语从句though/although;even if/ even though 意思为“尽管，即使，虽然”，不能与“b
